We must remember who we are in Christ. God created us to win the storms of life. We can make it through Jesus Christ. God wants us to succeed. Romans 8:37 lets us know we are more than conquerors through Christ who loves us. However, there are biblical principles that will guarantee that we break the enemy's attacks.
Micah 7:8 says, "Do not rejoice over me, my enemy! Although I have fallen, I will rise." Just as the palm tree is built to withstand the storm. God will cause us to bounce back when we humble ourselves and submit to Him.
Remember, God has given us tools to win these attacks from Satan. Read Ephesians 6:10-18: Paul tells us to be strong in the Lord and put on the whole armor of God to stand against the schemes of the devil. Our surrender and faith in God propels us to take heed to the word of God. Yes, God has designed us to win!
We can not forsake our prayer time. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 tells us to pray without ceasing. No matter how we feel, we must never stop praying. Talk to God about it, reminding Him of His promises. It is transforming when we have a specific place that we go to daily to pray... worshipping and thanking God for His goodness in good times, and also praying through the tough times when tears are flowing and the burdens and trials of life feel overwhelming. Your place may be a room in a house, a quiet field or anywhere you have consecrated to God as your daily meeting place with Him. This helps us slow down and take time to be with God with consistently.
When you are going through hardships, fighting spiritual battles, when it feels as if all hell is fighting against you, it can feel hard to pray: Go to your place of prayer anyway. Simply pray, "Father, I don't know what to pray, but I am here." Surrender and hear from God.
When going through hardships, the enemy wants us to isolate and pull us away from corporate worship and fellowship with the saints. The "Church" is a place of power. When the enemy is pulling you to stay home, that is when you really need to push to get to the assembly of saints. Hebrews 10:25 reads, "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." We are definitely living in end times, sin is rampant and people are doing whatever they want to do except living for God. There has been a falling away from the Church just as the word of God warns. Be determined to not let it be you.
Solomon said, "Two are better than one, because there is a good reward for their labor together. For if they fall, then one will help up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has no one to help him up." (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10) Therefore, let's encourage and be accountable for one another.
When we praise God through any attack for Satan, we place ourselves in the presence of God and confuse the enemy. Additionally with our armor of God, we winning the enemy's attacks.
I pray this Word has encouraged you to never stop fighting in the LORD. Please leave a testimony in the comments.
Agape!
