The teachings on prayer will culminate on this National Day of Prayer.

Theme: Exalt the LORD who has established us.

Scripture:  Colossians 2:6-7 " So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."

There is a deep sense of urgency, prompting and stirring from the Holy Spirit.  Thousands upon thousands of events are being planned across our nation.  As Christians, we have the privilege, and get to respond to that call, rally believers and pray for America.  Prayer is happenning not only on this first Thursday of May, but daily, weekly, monthly in many places.

Our families are under attack.  Influences such as the liberal media are constantly taking swipes at demeaning and chipping away at our Christian values, as we seek to raise our children and grandchildren up in God's ways.  As a Church,  we act like we are in crisis, when in fact, Christ has not left His Throne.  We cannot survive without turning back to God.

Regardless of the challenges that we face, we KNOW that as God's people pray, mountains are moved and darkness must see light.  The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for the tearing down of strongholds of the enemy.

The enemy trembles at our prayers.  However, we are stirred up as we stand up and lift up bold prayers, not in a spirit of timidity, but EXALTING THE LORD in the victory that God has already provided.  Make the LORD your Refuge, your Dwelling Place and your Shield.  Thank you for continuing to Exalt the Lord with us!
